In the current edition (2021) of the QS World University Ranking, the faculty performed again well in the subject comparison for civil and structural engineering. It is ranked in the 101-150 range in a global comparison together withg two others, only three german faculties are ranked recognizably better.
In the field of Environmental Studies, the faculty is ranked 201-250 worldwide togehter with two others, six are ranked better.
The QS World University Ranking by faculty includes 1,440 universities from 85 countries. The evaluation covered 51 subjects and five faculty areas. As indicators, in addition to research, publications and Nobel Prizes received are also taken into account.
