Committee members elected

Senat

Again, the faculty will continue to be represented in the Senate, and at least until the end of September 2024, only by two professors (coming  dean Prof. Hofmann, coming Dean of Studies Prof. Jünger). Unfortunately, the only stdent of the faculty on the election lists wasn't elected, but is substitute.

Great Faculty Council (GFR)

In addition, 14 non-professoral members of the Great Faculty Council (GFR) of Faculty 2 have now been elected:

• The seven GFR student representatives for the academic year 2023/2024 (October 1^st, 2023 to September 30^th, 2024) and their ten substitutes can be found on page 18 of the election results announcement [DE] (only available for members of the university). They may not be mentioned here for reasons of data protection.
  The student members of the GFR also form the Student Council of the Faculty, according to the organization statutes [DE] of the Student Council of the University (stuvus). The ten elected deputy student members of the GFR are also deputy members of the Student Council.
  The chairperson of the student council is Lukas Dietzel (EE/UMW), his deputy Nico Riffel (TrEng/VIng).

• The three GFR representatives of the doctoral candidates (term of office analogous to that of students) together with their deputies are listed on page 24 of the above-mentioned announcement.

• The three GFR representatives of the academic staff (term of office from Octber 1^st, 2023, until  September 30^th, 2026) together with their five deputies are listed on page 12 of the above-mentioned announcement.

• The GFR representative of the non-academic statt (term of office analogous to that of academic staff) together with their deputie is listed on page 27 of the above-mentioned announcement.

Student Parliament

The faculty is not represented in the Stupa, but three applicants  - from list Fachgruppenliste - are deputies (see page 30).

The faculty office wishes all committee representatives good luck and good decisions!
