Building Physics Learning Laboratory Opened

November 25, 2018 /

To enable those involved in planning and construction to keep up in professional practice, the Faculty's Institute for Acoustics and Building Physics, in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, opened a new building physics learning laboratory on 23 November 2018. This includes learning stations at which phenomena relating to the sub-areas of building physics are explained in an understandable way and can be experienced through experiments. At the same time, users acquire knowledge about the interactions of all disciplines in the real planning and construction process.

The new offer was also developed with the participation of students of the MASTER:ONLINE BAUPHYSIK programme. The learning laboratory integrates seamlessly into the didactic concept of the existing online study courses, but also enables and supplements other training formats in the field of building physics. It is located in the Fraunhofer Institute Center Stuttgart, Nobelstr. 12, 70569 Stuttgart, in room N 3.17.
