In the 2017 VDI competition, students from Faculty 2, among others, took 1 st place with their design in timber construction. The design was created as part of the interdisciplinary master module 34700 in cooperation with students of architecture and civil engineering in joint supervision of the Institutes for Structural Design (ke) of Faculty 2 and for Design and Construction (iek) of Faculty 1.
At the VDI Annual Conference 2018 in Constance, the University of Stuttgart was awarded the VDI Challenge Cup as the supervising university. We congratulate the winners!
