Jörn Birkmann, head of the faculty's Institute of Spatial and Regional Planning (IREUS) presented on July 21, 2022 on ZDF the latest strategies for adapting cities to heat stress through spatial planning based on ongoing research and development projects, such as the ERC-Synergy Grant and the ZURES project.
