In the current edition (2020) of the QS World University Ranking, the faculty performed well in the subject comparison for civil and structural engineering. It is ranked 6th among German universities and in the 101-150 range in a global comparison.
In the field of Environmental Studies, the faculty is ranked 9th in Germany and 201-250 worldwide.
The QS World University Ranking by faculty includes 1,368 universities from 83 countries. The evaluation covered 48 subjects and five faculty areas. As indicators, in addition to research, publications and Nobel Prizes received are also taken into account.
