The American Concrete Institute ACI has awarded the Alfred E. Lindau Award to Hon.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Fuchs, until his retiremejhnt researcher at the Institute of Construction Materials (IWB), department Fastening- and Strengthening Methods.
In its citation, the ACI highlights the development of the CCD method and Mr. Fuchs' continuous support of the harmonization of international design standards in the field of fastening technology. (Concrete International (2021), No. 10, p.20)
