By public transport
The Campus Vaihingen of the University of Stuttgart is very well connected to the “S-Bahn“ network of Stuttgart. The station Universität [DE] is only a few minutes' walk from the main building of our faculty (Pfaffenwaldring 7). You can reach this station every 10 minutes from Stuttgart main station with the lines S1, S2 and S3 to Vaihingen, Böblingen/Herrenberg as well as to the airport/filderstadt. The journey from/to the main station takes only 10 minutes.
In addition, several bus lines stop on the Vaihingen campus:

By car
From the motorway A8 (Karlsruhe-München) / A81 (Heilbronn-Singen):
At the Stuttgart motorway junction (Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart), follow the A831/B14 in the direction of Stuttgart-Zentrum/Vaihingen. Take the exit Universität on the A831/B14 and turn left at the first traffic light onto Universitätsstraße. Pfaffenwaldring is the first street on the right hand side, where you turn right. Our main building (Pfaffenwaldring 7) can be reached via the first cul-de-sac on the left in Pfaffenwaldring. There are some parking spaces at the police areal, you will find more in the second street on the left side of the Pfaffenwaldring behind the police areal and the ARENA2036 building
From the Federal Road B14:
You can reach us using the federal road B14 (Heslacher Tunnel) via the Schattenring in the direction of Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Take the exit Universität on the A831/B14 and turn right at the first traffic light onto Universitätsstraße. Pfaffenwaldring is the first street on the right hand side, where you turn right. Our main building (Pfaffenwaldring 7) can be reached via the first cul-de-sac on the left in Pfaffenwaldring. There are some parking spaces at the police areal, you will find more in the second street on the left side of the Pfaffenwaldring behind the police areal and the ARENA2036 building
By plane and public transport
From Stuttgart airport, take the S2 (direction Schorndorf) or S3 (direction Backnang) S-Bahn lines. Get off at the station Universität [DE] (journey time 16 minutes, both lines together four journeys per hour).
You can also take the express bus line X60 (direction Leonberg) to the stop Universität Schleife (directly opposite our building) (journey time 17 minutes, one journey per hour).
