On February 5, 2021, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) approved the funding of the research project HO 6055/1-2 entitled "Prozess-spezifische Parametrisierung der Änderung hydraulischer poröser Medieneigenschaften durch biogeochemische Reaktionen" (Process-specific relations describing the change of hydraulic porous-medium properties due to biogeochemical reactions). The project will start on April , 2021 and be funded for three years. Applicnt is Dr.-Ing. Johnnes Homnmel, member of the Department of Hydromechanics and Modelling of Hydrosystems (LH²) of the Institute for Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental Systems (IWS).
