Prof. Rehm died on August 27th, 2020 at the age of 95. For many years (from 1973 to 1990), he headed the Institute of Construction Materials (IWB) and, in personal union, the then Research and Materials Testing Institute for Civil Engineering (FMPA) - Otto-Graf-Institut.

Throughout his life he retained his curiosity and fascination for building materials science as well as for practical engineering. Even against resistance he broke new ground and convinced with his communication skills.

The funeral took place on September 9th, 2020 in Munich/GERMANY.
