The chair of Building Physics of the Faculty (now Institute for Acoustics and Building Physics IABP) is once again (after 2008 and 2009) one of the winners of the "Germany - Land of Ideas" (Deutschland - Land der Ideen) initiative. In the competition "Awarded Landmarks 2015: City, Country, Web! Innovations for a Digital World" the "Virtual Laboratory Building Physics" was awarded, which was developed by the Master:Online-Bauphysik-Team around Hon.-Prof. Schew-Ram Mehra. The Virtual Laboratory offers a new flexible form of learning and creates an associated added value in education and profession.
The award ceremony took place on the Science Day on June 20th, 2015 at 3 p.m. on the stage next to the staircase of the S-Bahn station "Universität".
