Consistency testing of concrete using the slump test
On November 24, 2025, students enrolled in the module Betontechnologie had the opportunity to apply and deepen their understanding of the theoretical content taught in Prof. Michael Haist's lecture in an exciting laboratory practical at the Institute of Construction Materials. The focus was on teaching the key challenges of concrete production in a practical way – from developing a mix design to understanding the complex rheological material relationships that significantly influence the behavior of fresh concrete.
