Kaan Koca, researcher at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management (LWW) of the Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental Systems (IWS) of the Faculty received the Ray Krone Award at INTERCOH 2019 (15th International Conference on Cohesive Sediment Transport Processes) in Istanbul/TURKEY for his outstanding scientific contribution to the topic of sediment stabilization titled Biostabilization of fine sediment in river and reservoirs: Exploring the interplay between flow, substrate and community.
