The Implenia Award was presented for the second time on 15 and 16 November 2017 for outstanding bachelor theses in the categories of construction operations, geotechnics, building construction, structural engineering and a special category. 24 students from seven universities came to the Albvorlandtunnel project to win one of the coveted prizes.
In the geotechnics category, Thilo Voigt (photo: 2nd from left) was awarded the prize for his bachelor thesis on "Experimental investigations of the load-bearing behaviour of monopiles" at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart (IGS). We congratulate Mr. Voigt on this award and wish him all the best for his future career.
The University of Stuttgart also honoured Ms. Marisa Leibfarth (photo: far right) and Mr. Fabian Kotter (photo: 3rd from right). We congratulate these two as well.
