The IAHR 85th Anniversary Summit celebrated IAHR's extraordinary achievements as the global leader in hydro-environmental research and engineering. The summit combined offline conferences in Beijing/PR CHINA, and online sessions on December 14th to 17th, 2020, live-streamed webinars, lectures and a reminiscent virtual get-together of prestigious IAHR members with the whole IAHR community.
From the faculty, Prof. Silke Wieprecht as Vice President of IAHR and Stefan Haun, Ph. D., as Secretary of the Flood Risk Management Technical Committee participated actively in the event. Both are working at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management (LWW) at the Institute for Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental Systems (IWS).
