The handover of the book vouchers from the Ludwig Lenz Foundations took place again this year in the ZÜBLIN House. The students (1st year of the Master's programmes in Civil Engineering, Real Estate Engineering and Management, Environmental Engineering and Transport Engineering) were welcomed in the foyer of the ZÜBLIN House in a festive and at the same time informal atmosphere.
After everyone had enjoyed coffee and cake, Mr. Beckmann, member of the board of directors of the ED. ZÜBLIN AG, welcomed the students and the other members of the faculty. Afterwards the dean of the faculty, Prof. Garrecht, also welcomed the guests. In his speech he paid tribute to the founder Ludwig Lenz.
Dr. Peter-Michael Mayer from the ED. ZÜBLIN AG held the speech entitled "Digital Trends in a Construction Company". On behalf of the students, Mr. S. Gerhäusser, a student of Environmental Engineering, thanked them for the book vouchers. In his speech, he impressively explains the significance and influence that a good book can have on personal development.
On behalf of all of them, four students received their book vouchers.
After the end of the official part, the students were able to inform themselves about the fields of work of the ED. ZÜBLIN AG and, for example, "walk" through a building with VR glasses. Also the physical well-being did not come too briefly!
