Graduate of the Faculty receives Emil Mörsch Study Award

Master's thesis by Wiegang Knecht, M. Sc., at the Institute of Structural Design (KE) was awarded the Emil Mörsch Study Prize 2019 on the topic of composite construction.

Wigand Knecht, M. Sc., was awarded the Emil Mörsch Study Prize 2019 of the "Freundeskreis Württembergischer Ingenieure des Konstruktiven Ingenieurbaus" (Friends of Württemberg Engineers of Structural Engineering) for special scientific achievements on August 13th, 2020 for his Master's thesis "Entwicklung eines numerischen Modells zur Abbildung der Tragfähigkeit von Slim-Floor-Trägern" (Development of a numerical model for mapping the load-bearing capacity of slim-floor beams).

The prize is awarded annually in memory of Emil Mörsch for outstanding Master's theses. It is also intended to highlight and promote the connection of construction practice with teaching and research at the University of Stuttgart.
