On occasion of the festive event – ‘Challenges and new demands on a development and planning strategy which aims at integration and sustainability’ - which was held 12 th and 13 th October 2017, more than 100 participants celebrated the official 50 th anniversary of the state working group Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Representatives from the economic, scientific and political spheres as well as from the regional associations and local planning met in the senate hall of the University of Stuttgart to discuss – within the framework of a joint regional development conference – the recent developments as well as challenges of regional planning.
The event was hosted by the University of Stuttgart - Institute of Spatial and Regional Planning (IREUS) in collaboration with the Academy for Spatial Research and Planning.
