Mobility has changed dramatically in recent centuries. The automobile was the last major milestone in this process. Today, we see the consequences of this development every day on our roads and in our cities: Traffic jams are a huge problem not only in Germany, but also worldwide, especially in megacities. The question is: How will we deal with it in the future? And what does the future of mobility look like? One answer can be mobility hubs that are capable of enclosing flexible space design for the requirements of current parking space management with innovative topics of logistics and mobility and sustainable construction methods that are adaptable for the future and your developments.
Sebastian Beck, B. Eng., studied infrastructure management at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, during which he joined Drees & Sommer in 2008. Since 2010, he has worked as a project manager with a focus on public sector, fire protection upgrading of existing buildings, development management and ropeway projects. He is also a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences.
