14. Symposium Structural Analysis - Building Practice

The forum for the exchange of experiences and ideas between practice and research

March 8, 2021, 8:00 a.m. (CET) – March 9, 2021, 5:00 p.m. (CET)

The symposium Baustatik - Baupraxis has been held every three years since 1981 at different university locations. The 14. session was planned for 202, but then postponed to 2021 due to corona. It is organized by the Forschungsvereinigung Baustatik - Baupraxis e.V. (Research Association for Structural Analysis - Building Practice), represented by the Chairs and Institutes for Structural Analysis/Mechanics in German-speaking countries.

The symposium sees itself as a forum for a dialogue between engineers working in practice and university research, in which current developments for calculation methods and design concepts as well as challenges in current construction projects are discussed. The conference takes into account the interdisciplinary character of the subject area "structural analysis" by offering an attractive range of topic-specific lecture blocks.

The conference Baustatik - Baupraxis is an information and further training event. It is recognised by some chambers of engineers as an advanced training event (for details see website).
